International Petroleum Research Directory

The 1996 edition of the International Petroleum Research Directory (IPRD) has now been published and distributed to PSTI Member companies. A Windows version of the CD-ROM will be available for members at the end of July. The updated IPRD information will be made available through the Internet on PTERIS by the 15th of July. The PTERIS version has the additional feature of hypertext links to research organisations undertaking the research projects featured in the Directory.

The IPRD contains details of over 4,500 ongoing or recently completed research projects and 650 organisations offering expertise relevant to the upstream oil and gas industry. By providing an insight into recently commissioned projects, many of which will not be in a position to report data until sometime in the future, users of the IPRD are able to form a judgement on emerging trends in exploration and production research.

The IPRD is available to non-members at a cost of £199 for the book and £490 for the CD-ROM.
