Space-Age Technologies For Oil and Gas SMEs

        Space Technology Transfer Conference

        Friday 6th December 1996

The Petroleum Science and Technology Institute (PSTI), in collaboration with JRA Aerospace and Technology Ltd (part of the SPACELINK EUROPE GIE which co-ordinates the technology spin-off activities of the European Space Agency (ESA)), offers this unique opportunity to review some of the potential space technology spin-off benefits which might be applicable to the oil and gas industry.

PSTI will host this event as the first of many to encourage the cross-pollination of ideas from other sectors to the oil and gas industry, potentially resulting in technology spin-offs. In this instance the focus is on technologies developed for the space industry. The SPACELINK network of technology transfer agents spans 13 European countries and Canada. JRA covers Great Britain and Scandinavia and also acts as ESAís programme co-ordinator.
